The 2027 edition moves to Indianapolis, and the reason to note it a year out is the trade show rather than the convention business. NECA's floor is the one place the electrical installation trade gathers at scale: prefabrication systems, cable and conduit, tooling, test equipment, and the software contractors estimate and schedule with.
If you specify electrical work that other people build, a day on this floor does something a utility or data-centre show cannot. It puts you in front of the constructability and labour-hour questions that decide whether a design is economic to install.
A Midwest edition is materially cheaper and easier to reach than the Las Vegas years for much of the country, which is worth factoring in when the travel budget is set.
